The learners led by Josephat Atunga a Kenyatta University student said they have been making efforts to reach the MP but in vain.

"CDF bursaries should be released to help us settle fee balances. We have been looking for the MP to give us even the application forms but in vain. Momanyi has gone underground after he was declared a winner in the last year’s polls,” said Akunga.

Akunga said most students are now at home due to lack of school fees.

“Some of us have been sent home to look for school fees. Other constituencies have released the funds but in Borabu it is not clear why the application forms have not been made available for learners to apply for the funds,” he said.

He called on the MP to come out and explain why the funds have not been disbursed because other regions, learners have benefited from the funds.

“We heard Momanyi going round lobbying NASA MPs to vote him to be a member in one of the National Assembly committees. He should come out with the same spirit and tell constituents why he has failed to release bursary funds. Borabu locals messed electing a failure,” he added.
