Residents of West Mugirango constituency in Nyamira County have accused area MP Vincent Kemosi for reportedly missing in action.
According to a section of them, the Ford Kenya legislator has rarely showed up in his constituency when it matters.
“Kemosi promised to conduct public forums across the constituency within 3 months after he won the election but that is yet to be done.
"It is unfortunate that we elected someone with empty promises. The MP has no plan to develop the region since we don’t even know what he has in store for us,” said Stella Mwabora.
Another resident, Isaac Mirera, said the legislator had failed to address the issue of poor roads and infrastructure in the region despite promising to act.
“Feeder roads are in a bad state yet we have an MP in office. We though we could have good roads but Kemosi is yet to tell us he plans he has for our roads," he added.
