Bonchari Member of Parliament John Oyioka has come into sharp criticism after he failed to honor a promise he made to his constituents in regards to disbursement of Constituency Development Funds (CDF).

Locals led by Alfred Onyonka and James Shadrack said the MP promised that CDF application forms were to be available at chiefs' offices across the constituency by February 15 but that is yet to be done.

"Oyioka promised CDF application forms were to be available by February 15 for parents to apply for CDF but it is unfortunate that is yet to be done. We want the money to be disbursed to help parents settle school fee balances," said Onyonka.

James said the MP will regret delaying disbursing the money because if a by-election will be conducted, chances of him clinching the seat will be minimal.

"We will send him packing just in case a by-election is called for by the Kisii High court in a petition challenging his win whose ruling is on February 27," he said.
