Kathiani Mp Robert Mbui was commissioned today March 21 to open Kathalani Administration Police post.
The AP post construction work was started on January under CDF and Mbui promised to take a maximum of three months for its completion.
According to Mbui, insecurity cases had risen in the area especially with bodaboda operators, which led them to start the project in order to reduce theft cases.
"The project construction commenced mid-January under CDF. Administration Police officers will ensure that theft cases which have persisted will finally come to an end," said Mbui.
He urged residents to cooperate with officers who will be deployed to the post, citing that it will be the only way to end illegal and unacceptable activities in the area.
