Residents of Mumbuni area in Mbiuni ward have a reason to smile after Mwala sub-county MP Eng Vincent Musyoka officiated the opening of a new secondary school in the area.
Speaking during the event Musyoka said that he will ensure development in his constituency more so in terms of education because there's no place for the illiterate in the society.
Musyoka said that the candidates who sat for KCPE last year will have a chance in the school which will be well equipped with government teachers where he urged residents to bring their children.
He warned residents to desist from incitement from leaders who are not development-minded and whose work is to criticize other leaders.
"If someone is not talking about development don't him waste your time," he said.
He added that he will try his level best to ensure he achieves what he promised his people during campaigns.
Musyoka was in the company of Mbiuni MCA Thomas Kasoa who promised to work hand in hand with him in developing the area.
