Speaking in his Constituency, Onyancha said that they have taken the step to help ease the burden of paying the mock fees after the national government started a programme of paying fees for both the Primary and Secondary school candidates that will be sitting for the national examinations - KCPE and KCSE.

“We have started a programme to help ease the parents with the issue of paying mock fees for the KCPE candidates after the government rolled out the same programme to pay for national examinations for both primary and secondary school candidates and so from now on no parent should be asked to pay for mock examinations,” said Onyancha.

He also revealed that the Constituency Development Fund Committee has set money that will be used to train 50 Bodaboda operators in the Constituency to have a knowhow as one way of reducing accidents caused by them.

“We have also set aside some funding for the Bodaboda group and we want to train them because it is the most used mode of transport in the constituency and we want to be sure the riders are properly trained and licensed to operate the bikes,” added Onyancha.
