Bahati MP Kiamin Ngunjiri has urged President Uhuru Kenyatta to intervene and solve the Narok political wrangles.
Kimani said that the current political wrangles in the county have destabilise many economical activities especially the hospitality industry.
“I urge the President to intervene in Narok wrangles and bring lasting solution to ensure development issues are not halted,” said Ngunjiri.
Speaking at St. Antony Primary School in Bahati Ward on Tuesday,during official opening of new class rooms, Ngunjiri said that leaders should give interests of wananchi the first priority instead of self gains.
The Narok political wrangle pits Narok Governor Samuel Tunai, Senator Stephen Ole Ntutu and five legislators over allocation of Sh2 billion from revenue collected from Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
The Senator and the legislators have been demanding accountability on how the revenue is being spent by the county government.
Ngunjiri said that the arrest of the Senator and the legislators painted a bad picture to the electorate. His remarks comes at a time when the Narok political saga issue has attracted National outcry.
Ngunjiri also accused police officers in charge of Bahati Police Station of perpetrating corruption and intimidation.
