Thika Member of Parliament, Alice Ng’ang’a, has revealed plans to establish a 24 hour economy in the town, before the end of her term.

She said that Thika town has many potential workers who are willing to earn a living every minute of their lives but only lack the chance to validate their dreams.

“Thika has business people who are ready to work in building the nation, thus in partnership with the investors, we will make the dream come true,” said Ng’ang’a

The MP spoke at the town when she met investors to launch Thika Growth Plan (TGP), and said that with the help of the private sectors, she is looking forward to establishing a working town.

The legislator expressed her concern with the insecurity in the region, which was questionable and vowed to work hand in hand with investors to boost the security level of the region.

Thika District Business Association Chairman Waweru Nderitu who was in the same meeting hailed the lawmaker for her continued support in the business industry of the region.

“Thika people are so lucky to have a leader who never relents and pushes forward towards development, you are the leader we have been waiting for,” said Nderitu
