Bonchari constituency Member of parliament John Opore has pleaded with constituents to turn out in large numbers to register, confirm their details with IEBC clerks posted in all ward in order to participate in the coming polls.
Opore urged locals to register and confirm their details earlier with the clerks to avoid last minute rush.
"I would like to take this opportunity to plead with all of us to turn in numbers and register as voters in the ongoing registration exercise in order to choose leaders during elections," said the Jubilee MP.
"Confirmation of personal details are also important. Confirm whether your name is correct, constituency, ward and polling station," said Opore.
He expressed confidence that he will retain his seat.
"Aspirants who have declared an interest to compete with me are fighting my projects instead of urging locals to register as voters they should sell their development agendas to them to win against me. Their fight will give me a direct win," he argued.
Opore challenged aspirants to engage in mature politics and not spreading propaganda about fellow contestants.
