Nyali MP Hezron Awiti has promised to partner with stakeholders to boost security in Freretown.

Speaking when he undertook an extensive tour of CDF projects in the constituency on Friday, Awiti reiterated the need to have a secure environment for a robust business atmosphere.

The MP said that enhanced security will also ensure residents co-exist peacefully.

"We have constructed a chiefs camp in Freretown and we are in the process of building police houses in a bid to boost security,” said the MP.

The MP also assured residents that police officers will be posted to Freretown.

"The Mombasa Deputy County Commissioner has agreed to post five AP officers to Freretown who would be stationed at the chiefs camp,” said Awiti.
