Bonchari MP John Oyioka has promised to allocate CDF funds for the construction of more wards at Nyamagundo level 4 hospital in Bomariba ward.
The lawmaker stated that he is committed to ensuring that local health centres get a modern facelift to boost delivery of medical services.
“Nyamagundo will get at least Sh2 million from the CDF kitty to start the construction of more wards. This will help in accommodating a higher number of patients especially in the maternity wing for women seeking maternity services at the facility,” he said.
He asked the hospital management to utilize the funds well once they will receive a cheque.
The lawmaker stated that old structures at the facility will be renovated and a perimeter wall constructed to prevent the local community from cultivating on the facility’s land.
“Rogue contractors will not be given a tender to construct the wards at the facility. Local politicians who are after politicizing my projects should keep off because nothing will derail my development agenda to the people of Bonchari,” he said.
