(Photo/Nation.)Mandera East MP Abdulaziz Farah has now quit  the race for the August 8 elections, citing frustrations over the negotiated democracy..Farah said that the negotiated democracy will kill good leadership in the county.He added that he would have wished to defend his seat, but the negotiated democracy propagated by community elders will not allow him."I am not in the race to defend my seat because of the effects of the negotiated democrazy that caused a lot of mix up and confusion," Farah said.He added that his political  tactics failed since his attempt to convince the elders to allow him defend his seat was in vain."The end results of negotiated democracy are not worthy investing in because almost every candidate feels short changed by the elders," he said as quoted by the Nation.
