A Member of Parliament allied to the Jubilee Party has expressed his regret for joining the rulling party.
Ikolomani MP Bernard Shinali has stated he was shortchanged in Jubilee over the house committee seats.
“In all 35 committees we do not have any committee chaired by an MP from western. Of the nine EALA seats we have none, the two coalitions have failed us,” Shinali is quoted by the Standard.
He stated that it was time he returned home and suport Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi in his quest for the presidency.
“Jubilee is a tribal based political party and we have come to our senses to come back home and support one of our own,” he added.
Shinali stated that they are in full support of Mudavadi after the development in Jubilee Party.
