Mogotio MP Hellen Sambili has rejected her nomination into the Cord team that forms the Joint Parliamentary Select Committee on IEBC.
In an exclusive interview with Radio Citizen, Sambili said that neither her nor her people of Mogotio were consulted before she was picked to represent the opposition in the talks.
"I was elected to parliament on a Kanu ticket and my appointment into the joint select team by Cord is puzzling," said Sambili.
."I still have to consult with my people in Mogotio to determine whether I should accept the role," she added.
The MP is currently in North Korea with the Parliamentary Committee on Education.
Other Members in the Cord team are Mutula Kilonzo Jnr, Johnson Muthama, James Orengo, Eseli Simiyu, Junet Mohamed and Mishi Mboko.
