"Vincent was recently involved in a road accident and sustained leg injury. He was taken to Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital for treatment. We could not afford the hospital bill which rose to Sh20,000 but after we reached out to the women rep, she offered last week Friday to clear the bill for Vincent to be released," said Ann Nyaboke, Vincent's mother.

.Nyaboke said Kisii residents should not regret electing Ongera because she has proved to be a performer who is always standing by her people,

The single mother said Ongera also offered to help her start a small business to earn a living.

"I am happy that Ongera promised to send her representative to give some money to me next week so that I start a small business to provide for my 3 kids. Vincent will have to go back to school now after he dropped at class 4 due to financial challenges," said the happy mother.

Nyaboke was speaking during an interview at her home on Monday.
