A disgruntled Wiper Party legislator has revealed the outfit’s plan for 2022 elections even as tides of discord continue to hit the Opposition coalition NASA.

Mwingi Central MP Gideon Mulyungi now says the party will exit the Opposition wing if Raila Odinga led ODM fails to tame its dominance in parliament. The MP wants the Orange party to accommodate equity in sharing parliamentary leadership positions before it gets late.

"Many members are dissatisfied completely," he noted.

While speaking at his Kalisi home, The Star reports, the MP further explained that Kalonzo Musyoka’s 2022 stab for the country’s top seat was an unrivaled course.

He said: "With or without the coalition, Wiper will support Kalonzo for the presidency in 2022. We will not care if NASA leader Raila Odinga will support us or not."

MP Mulyungi stated that the Wiper leader has been on wait for a long time and time was ripe for all members of the Kamba community to marshal their political muscles behind his 2022 bid.

"Kalonzo has asked for this seat for a long time and we are going to support him whether he vies through the coalition or alone," Mulyungi said.

"All Kambas will definitely support the Wiper party leader even those who defected since there will be no option."

A section of Kalonzo Musyoka’s allies including late Kitui West MP Francis Nyenze and David Musila, the ex-Kitui Senator rebelled against Raila Odinga’s candidature in the 2017 elections. They argued that the 2013 pact between ODM and Wiper accorded Raila a one chance shot at the presidency and Kalonzo was to fly the Opposition flag in 2017.

But the Opposition leaders agreed to front Raila Odinga as a one term bridge (if he was to win) in anticipation he would hand the mantle to Kalonzo Musyoka in 2022.

However, the Opposition failed to beat their Jubilee rivals-according to IEBC.
