Thika Town MP Patrick Wainana has assured constituents that there will be accelerated development in the region in his tenure.
Wainana said development project will be initiated across the constituency and no region will be sidelined as claimed by his rivals.
“I was elected to serve my people and ensure there is development all over. Those spreading propaganda that I will sideline regions in initiating projects should join hands with me to deliver services to the people because it is not time for politics,” he said.
The lawmaker said roads, schools, hospitals and other social amenity centers will be upgraded using the CDF funds.
He assured parents that CDF funds will be disbursed equally to all students to help in settling fee balances.
“CDF allocation will be done transparently and fairly. No one will be favored in the process and every applicant will receive the funds,” he said.
The legislator urged locals to embrace peace and shun hatred politics.
“I am appealing to my constituents to shun politicians who are after misusing them to gain political mileage. Youths should keep off politicians who may incite them t cause chaos,” he said.
Wainana was speaking at Kimuchu primary school during the constituency’s health awareness.
