Miruka said following the divisive politics that divided Kenyans, it is time for leaders to deliver in the new year.

He called on opponents to help develop the constituency because it is not the time for politics.

“Constituents need improved roads, good health services, fair distribution of bursaries for our children and electricity. Under my leadership I will ensure for the next 5 years, locals are enjoying development in the region,” he said.

The lawmaker asked parents to ensure their children reports back to school on January 2, 2018, when schools will be re-opening.

He said the allocation of bursary funds for secondary and college students will be distributed without discrimination or favors.

“Everyone who will apply for a bursary is entitled to get the money and no one will be given priority in the allocation of the money,” he said.

Miruka said constituents should rate his work by March 2018.
