A NASA MP has rubbished the arrest of NYS suspects saying it is a waste of time meant to fool Kenyans.
West Mugirango MP Vincent Kemosi said the suspects have been arrested to fool Kenyans but the suspects will be left to walk free at long last.
“The arresting of NYS suspects who stole billions of money is a waste of time and the government is doing so to fool Kenyans.
"The suspects will be released unconditionally and the money lost will be a past tense,” he said.
The vocal MP said a lot of money has been stolen by the government since the Jubilee government took over power in 2013 but no suspect has been jailed until today.
“Kenyans need to ask themselves how much money has been stolen since 2013 when Uhuru became the president in this country and how many suspects have been sent to jail. Absolutely there is no suspect who has been jailed.
"The same thing will happen to the latest suspects to be arrested because at the end of it they will be released and go to enjoy the money with their families but Kenyans will continue paying taxes,” he noted.
He said corruption will not end in this country and Kenyans should accept to move on.
