North Mugirango MP Charles Geni has dismissed the recent opinion polls carried out by a local daily which put Jubilee ahead of the opposition's planned 'National Super Alliance' terming them ‘inaccurate’.
The Star newspaper opinion polls indicated that Jubilee administration would garner 47 per cent of the votes while the combined opposition would score 40 per cent hence giving President Uhuru Kenyatta an upper hand.
And Geni on Monday said the government’s reputation was beyond repair citing the recent corruption cases as the major reason behind Jubilee’s decline.
“These opinion polls are prejudiced and do not reflect what we see on the ground. The Jubilee government has lost direction and no Kenyan can waste time voting for them. These polls are manufactured and should be dismissed,” he said.
He added:”Kenyans have seen their money lost in unscrupulous deals and won’t vote on the basis of tribe or region. The opposition has put this government in check and that is why I believe we will beat them fair and square.”
He insisted that the opposition would win by a landslide and urged Kenyans to vote out Jubilee for the sake of saving the economy.
