Nyando MP Fred Outa has reiterated that ODM party will carry disciplinary action against errant MCAs in Kisumu County. Outa said those targeted are the ones who were nominated and are going against the party wishes. He said problems in Kisumu County Assembly must be resolved to allow the county to move forward. The MP said no elected leader under ODM is above the party and nobody will be spared in the disciplinary action. “The party has taken a position on the matter and it baffles me why some people are still bent on taking us back,” he said. Speaking when he visited Kisumu assembly deputy speaker Pamela Omino at Avenue Hospital, Outa said devolution was to bring goodies to the people not leaders’ wrangles. Omino on the other hand, said she is confident and will be discharged from hospital by Friday. She said she will resume her duties as the deputy speaker in the county assembly of Kisumu on Tuesday next week. Omino said she will not be cowed by anybody and will stand firm to her rights and discharge her duties as an elected deputy speaker. She thanked the people of Kisumu for giving her moral support during her tribulations.
