On Monday, while speaking at Ekerubo Oyioka said criticism will not make him discriminate constituents.
"I am aware that some people who are not happy with me being the area MP want me out. I want to assure them I will serve the constituents equally with all the energy and the insults will not affect me in any way," he said.
Oyioka urged opponents' supporters to embrace peace for the sake of development.
"Those who didn't vote for me must get improved service delivery to vote for me in 2022. They are free to walk into my office to seek any help and I am ready to attend them," he said.
The lawmaker denied that he assaulted a blind man from Bomokora sub-location.
"I have never kicked anyone out of my office as claimed by my opponents. If the claims by the blind man are true, I am ready to defend myself in court," he stated.
