Bonchari constituency member of Parliament John Oroo has now sharply differed with a section of jubilee losers from Kisii county for putting president Uhuru Kenyatta under pressure over the selection of cabinet secretary slots.

The MP said the president was wise enough and he knows who deserve the slots and who doesn't as he has previously worked with them in various capacities.

Speaking on Friday at Itierio area the Mp urged his jubilee counterpart from the region to lobby for seats in a more organized manner and not through closed meetings nor blackmailing the president.

"The president had promised us one or two extra cabinet secretary slots and therefore let's give him time to chose at his own pace," said Oroo.

His sentiments come at a time a section of Jubilee leaders led by former Kisii county senator Chris Obure has been pushing for President Uhuru Kenyatta to award the region with extra cabinet secretary slots.
