An MP on Saturday stunned many when he skipped his mother-in-law's burial to attend the ODM '10 At 10' celebrations in Kisumu.
Nyando MP and ODM strongman Fred Outa left his mother-in-law's funeral ceremony to go and attend the celebrations held in Kisumu town.
The MP is said to have abruptly left the funeral ceremony in Aila village in Siaya to attend the much-charged ODM rally in Kisumu that was graced by ODM party leader Raila Odinga.
The vocal lawmaker had promised to make 'a big announcement' before the arrival of his political rivals.
He however, left without keeping his word.
Before his departure though, he was given a chance to address the mourners- breaking protocol at the event.
The ODM '10 At 10' celebrations were held in Kisumu and over 50 opposition MPs attended.
