Bungoma County executives have been blamed for the failures of the county government.

Sirisia MP John Walukhe accused the county officials of letting Governor Lusaka down and tainting his image even as the general election approaches.

Walukhe said the CeCs had presided over shoddy projects without involving area lawmakers.

''Lusaka, our first Governor, is a very 'cool guy' who is development oriented but his weakness of being very polite and soft has made these ministers turn against him and do things that one cannot understand,'' he said on Wednesday at Mayuba Stadium, Bungoma, during the International Women’s Day celebrations.

The MP said the Governor erred in appointing some of his county ministers, claiming they were orchestrating Lusaka’s downfall.
