Johanna Ng’eno says KANU’s worst mistake would be endorsing Jubilee administration for the second term adding that President Uhuru Kenyatta has lost popularity.
Party leader Gideon Moi is reportedly planning to endorse Kenyatta’s re-election on Thursday after talks with the president.
But the firebrand Emurua Dikir MP says Jubilee administration has failed Kenyans by ‘glorifying’ corruption and segregating other regions in development.
“This hypocrisy and I will not be part of it. We cannot just come and join a bandwagon of glorifying graft and negative ethnicity,” say Ng’eno in his latest jibe on Jubilee government.
“But I think we have different principles and people are free to make political decisions. Hopefully, Kenyans will make a good decision in August,” he added.
Even though he has not pronounced his party of choice, Ng’eno is likely to defend his seat on Chama Cha Mashinani which is associated with Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto.
