The Legislator said he has written to KNEC for them to give reasons as to why they decided to nullify the whole school results since only one subject was affected.

Speaking yesterday at the Omonayo Secondary School in Nyamira county, the lawmaker said that he has given a sum of Sh500,000 to the school to re-register the affected candidates for this year’s examinations since the parents cannot manage to register them again.

The rest of the money is meant to purchase equipment for the school.

He said that the school community shall work to ensure that the school is not affected by such incident again.

Momanyi also urged the parents and the affected students to remain calm and concentrate on the next exams.

The Legislator then assured them of his support for the sake of the community children who need to go to school since education is the key to life.
