Kathiani Member of Parliament Robert Mbui has warned poll losers against using the Kamba community for their selfish gains.

According to Nation, the lawmaker said that candidates who lost during the last general election have no mandate to speak on behalf of the community.

“We warn those losers to stop purporting to speak on behalf of the community since they were rejected by the very same people they claim to represent,” said Mr Mbui, as quoted by the local daily.

The legislator also said that Jubilee leaders are attempting to use underhand tactics to divide the National Super Alliance (NASA), an attempt he termed as miscalculated and destined to fail.

“Jubilee has resorted to fabricating lies in its van attempt to portray to gullible Kenyans the non-existent divisions in the National Super Alliance (Nasa),” he said.

The remarks of the lawmaker come at a time when there have been speculations that leaders of Wiper are not committed to the economic boycott calls by the former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga.

The opposition leader has asked his supporters to boycott products of Safaricom and Brookside.  Raila has accused the Jubilee regime of using these companies to frustrate the common mwananchi.
