Borabu MP Ben Momanyi said the Jubilee government has been spending too much something that has led to increased borrowings.

“President Uhuru and Ruto’s leadership is poor because the two leaders are spending too much on unnecessary tours something that has seen the country depend on borrowing from other countries. I am disappointed especially with the recently released budget,” he said.

He said Kenyans will continue to be poor because the Jubilee government has no plans to boost livelihoods in deep villages.

“The recently led budget is a clear indication that poor people will continue to be poor in the deep villages. There is nothing Kenyans even those who supported Jubilee during the last year’s polls can smile about because the government is not concerned with poor Kenyans,” he added.

The lawmaker said few individuals are looting money through corruption and dubious business transaction with the government while leaving people in deep villages struggling with poverty.
