Kapseret Member of Parliament Oscar Sudi is yet again on a collision path with locals in the North Rift region.
The MP posted a Madaraka day message to his Facebook followers on Thursday but a majority did not receive it positively.
"Happy Madaraka day Kenyans. May the Lord continue blessing us Kenyans as we move forward making our country Kenya great. #GodBlessYou #GodBlessKenya," posted Sudi on his official Facebook page.
The post, however, received harsh reactions from locals.
Here some of the sampled tough comments;
Kilele - "There is nothing to celebrate in this years Madaraka Day, just scandals."
Kipkosgei Emmanuel - "We do have nothing to celebrate of while you the leaders are becoming irresponsible and stealing from the normal poor citizens."
"You are busy eating, remember some are going hungry because of corrupt government you are serving, thanks be to God Uhuru parting ways with the Deputy President then Jubilee to break," posted another Facebook user Patrick Mutai.
Eliaz Keter was more concerned about the agony farmers were going through.
"Madaraka gani na wakulima wanalia? huku mnajigamba na ukarabati?" noted Keter.
The vocal legislator has hit the headlines for the wrong reasons this week after he was perceived by farmers to be defending cartels involved in the maize scandal.
