Charles Geni says that constituency tallying in August elections will enable Kenyans get credible results by minimizing chances of rigging.
Already, the IEBC team is embroiled in a mother of battle with opposition team, following its decision to appeal High Court ruling that validated constituency results as final.
And the North Mugirango MP now wants IEBC to withdraw its appeal and support High Court’s ruling top avoid ‘unnecessary battle’.
“IEBC should know that we are not interested with their sideshows. The court was very clear and as a neutral body, we expect them to support such a land mark ruling,” he said on Wednesday.
“At the constituency level, it will be difficult for someone to rig and this will prevent political turmoil. We are aware that our opponents want to rig elections,” added the ODM MP.
On Tuesday, a similar warning was fired by NASA leaders led by Senator James Orengo during their first day retreat in Mombasa.
