Borabu member of Parliament Ben Momanyi has said tarmacking of the Kijauri–Nyansiongo–Manga road will start soon.
According to Momanyi, all measures are in place and the road will be tarmacked soon to ease transport.
Addressing journalists at Nyasiongo Boys High School on Monday, Momanyi said the condition of the road is pathetic.
“I know area residents have been suffering due to the condition of the road but as an area MP I want to assure my residents that the construction of this road will commence soon,” said Momanyi
The lawmaker donated Sh2 million to the institution to buy a school bus.
“I promise I am going to write a letter to DP William Ruto to fulfill his pledge he gave to Nyasiongo Boys High School that he was to give some amount of money to help the school buy the bus," he said.
