Speaking today to media at Nakuru town, Kamama said that the deputy president had demonstrated a high degree of leadership.

“The deputy president has not wavered in his passion to lead Kenyans to achieve their expectations,” said Kamama.

Kamama warned politicians seeking to engage in hate politics or to further the division in Rift Valley that they would not achieve their ‘foul intentions’.

“The deputy president has shown that he is a seasoned leader who is capable of leading Kenyans. Those advocating that Deputy President in incompetent in leadership have lost focus,” said Kamama.

The legislator said that the Kalenjin community was behind the deputy president and that it would help him ascend to presidency in 2022.

“The Kalenjin community will fight to see William Ruto ascend to presidency in 2022,” said Kamama.

He said that as a way of solidarity to deputy president several political heavy weights from Rift Valley had ditched their parties to join JAP which incorporates deputy president’s party URP.

“The deputy president's strength has continued to grow from strength to strength and Kalenjin community has faith in him,” said Kamama .

Kamama also urged other communities living in the Rift Valley to support the deputy president. According to Kamama, the deputy president had shown strong leadership irrespective of tribal lines.

“The deputy president has united all tribes in RiftValley and there is need to show solidarity in his leadership,” said Kamama.
