Kenyans have been asked to fully embrace reforms that have been initiated in the country's education system.
Ainabkoi Member of Parliament William Chepkut says the reforms are for the good of the country and should be supported by all stakeholders.
Speaking in Eldoret town on Sunday, the Jubilee allied MP said Education Cabinet Secretary Dr. Fred Matiang'i deserves credit for turning around the education sector.
"He (Matiang'i) has done a good job at the ministry and should be applauded for that not criticisms," said Chepkut.
"The best thing we can do now is to comply with the reforms and not to complain," he added.
There have been concerns over mass failures witnessed in the 2017 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Examination (KCSE) with several stakeholders calling for a probe into the results.
"Those who didn't attain the university entry grades can still pursue other courses in the many vocational and technical training institutions that the government has established across the country," said Chepkut.
