An MP allied to the National Super Alliance has advised Tharaka Nithi senator Kindiki Kithure to tone down his attacks on the coalition and instead redeem the image of his constituency which has 'gained notoriety in rigging'.
Makueni lawmaker Daniel Maanzo on Friday said it was laughable that the Senate majority whip was busy castigating Nasa for protesting an electoral fraud when his own backyard had a very nasty history in electoral theft dating back in 2007.
"Kindiki should be the last man to criticize Nasa.He should be concerned with free and fair polls and not shortcuts. It is in his county where a lot of votes are ordinarily stolen with election officials going missing soon after. That has been the situation since the time of former ECK chairman Samuel Kivuitu," he said.
Maanzo further averred that a majority of Jubilee MPs were products of rigged elections and would soon lose their seats courtesy of the numerous poll petitions that he said are pending in court.
