Bonchari Member of Parliament Oroo Oyioka has said that the Government should be more careful with opposition leader Raila Odinga.
According to the lawmaker, Mr Odinga was only planning to ensure that Jubilee party breaks up before the next elections.
"Jubilee leaders might think that Mr Odinga means well for government but that is not the case. They should deal with him carefully," he said.
Mr Oyioka said that one of the tactics Mr Odinga was applying was by calling for a referendum to make changes to the constitution.
He said his main aim was to stop the Deputy President William Ruto from becoming president.
"Am wondering who still trusts Mr Odinga, I ask the governemnt to ignore his calls for a referendum," he said.
He said that the DP should be extra careful when dealing with Mr Odinga.
Mr Oyioka also advised the DP to ensure that he assembles a team of his loyalists to deal with Mr Odinga.
Already, the debate about holding a referendum is gaining momentum in the country.
However, a section of leaders led by the DP are opposed to it.
