Oyioka said Opore had all the resources and time to complete the projects in his 15 years of leadership but he ended up embezzling funds.

“I will not listen to any lecture from the failure who had all the time to complete his projects. No one should tell me what I should do and what I should not do. The mandate the people of Bonchari gave to me is not to be lectured but to serve them,” he said.

The lawmaker accused Opore of trying to impose himself on the people even after he lost to him fairly.

He claimed that Opore is desperate to lead the people of Bonchari.

“Opore misused and misappropriated CDF funds during his tenure and I don’t see what he has seen now when he is out of office. Let him accept and retire in peace and allow me to work to develop Bonchari and improve the lives of the people,” he added.

Oyioka promised that he will not discriminate regions throughout his tenure as Opore did during his 15 years of leadership.
