This comes after the suspended Lands Cabinet Secretary Charity Ngilu said that she was asked by the President to inflate the price of a parcel of land belonging to Evanson Waitiki that the government wants to buy.

“The President should be a good example to the people that he is leading and he is not supposed to be associated with any issues that go against the law,” said Bosire.

Speaking at Kenani primary school in his constituency when he gave out Sh 600, 000 from the Constituency Development Fund kitty to the school, Bosire said that the President should also step aside the same way he ordered other public office holders to step aside and give room for investigation.

“Someone at the level of the President should not be involved in corruption; he should be clean because it becomes more surprising when someone claiming to be fighting corruption is the one involved. And if Ngilu’s claims are true I want to request the president with due respect to also step aside,” said the Legislator.
