Bonchari Member of Parliament Oroo Oyioka has threatened to sack the Constituency Development Fund (CDF), boss over claims that he was demanding for bribes from parents.
The MP assured parents that they will receive the funds in two weeks time as scrutinisation of the forms had kicked off.
"The deadline to submit the forms was yesterday and now the process to scrutinise the forms has started. Everyone who submitted the forms will receive funds," he said.
He said that investigations had kicked off against the CDF chairman Mr Anthony Nyamao.
Mr Oyioka asked the CDF members to carry themselves with integrity and decorum as he asked parents to report any claims of bribery directly to his office.
"I am ready to address any bribery claims which are brought to my attention. Mine is to ensure that the allocation of bursary funds is done in a free and fair way," he said.
The MP was speaking at Suneka CDF offices on Saturday.
