Following the recent clashes at Narok - Kisii border, Emurua Dikirr Mp Johanna Ng'eno has been summoned to appear before the DCI for questioning.
Ng'eno who was summoned to appear on Friday asked for more time to appear before the DCI next week in Kilgoris town.
Trans Mara DCI David Njogu said that Ng'eno was to appear before the DCI on Friday but asked for more time and he will appear on Monday next week.
Njogu did disclose why the Mp was summoned.
However, the Mp argued that he is does not know exactly why the officers summoned him.
"They have called me for questioning. I will make time and honor the summons, but later…" Ng'eno was quoted by the Nation.
Ng'eno cited that some people have been accusing him of inciting the Kipsigis community to fight with Kisii community at Olmelil border.
"Some top government officers claim that I have been inciting people to fight. This is false and only meant to taint my political name," he added.
