Kitutu Masaba MP Shadrack Mose has promised to equip Morako village polytechnic so that learners can get quality skills to boost their livelihoods.
The Jubilee MP said more training machines will be brought for tutors to use when teaching learners practical lessons.
“The institution lacks learning materials but I wish to assure learners and tutors that in my tenure more learning materials will be brought to help them in their learning to get the required skills so that by the time they will leave the institution they will be ready to change the society,” he said.
He called on parents to take their children for enrollment in the institution.
“Parents should take their children who don’t qualify to higher learning institutions to be enrolled in the institution instead of leaving them to idle in villages. We want a future generation that is equipped with life skills to improve their income earnings,” he noted.
He called on tutors to give students appropriate training for the job market.
