Mvita MP Abdulswamad Nassir has said he will organise a meeting with student leaders and school prefects drawn from all schools in the constituency.
According to the legislator, the move is aimed at coming up with resolutions that can help curb school unrest which is been experienced in various schools in the country.
"I have agreed with the teachers that I will organise a retreat with students leaders from different school so that they pour their heart out in the absence of their teachers," he said
"I will also organise extracurricular activities to encourage talent development" he added.
Speaking on Thursday in Mvita shortly after holding a consultative meeting with school heads and board of management members, Nassir urged school principals to empower class teachers by organising interactive meetings in conjunction with the district education office, where parents will be given talks on parenting.
