Kitutu Masaba Member of Parliament Timothy Bosire has called on Kenyans to rally behind the National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate Raila Odinga during the general elections slated for August 8.
Speaking on Sunday, Bosire said the Jubilee administration under the leadership of President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto has failed to deliver to Kenyans and should be sent packing next month.
“Jubilee will not help Kenya. It has excelled in corruption, incompetence and tribalism,” he said while addressing mourners during a burial ceremony at Nyaguku in his constituency.
The ODM National Treasurer urged the residents to back the opposition alliance saying the NASA government will steer the country in the right direction.
“I don’t want to force you to join, but there is honey in NASA. As your representative, I will not lead you astray. NASA has gone to every part of the country to tell Kenyans why they should reject Jubilee and we are sure of winning in August,” Bosire was quoted by the Star.
The MP said NASA administration will work to ensure devolution flourish during its tenure by increasing the funds allocated to counties by the national government up to 45 per cent of all revenue collected.
“The leadership of NASA has come together to rescue the country from collapse from the blunders of the Jubilee administration. Kenyans should be ready for us to change this country,” said Bosire, the NASA campaign coordinator in Kisii and Nyamira counties.
