Nyaribari Masaba MP Elijah Moindi plans to introduce a bill in parliament that will ensure albinos are fully helped by the government. Speaking at Geteri town where he held New Year celebrations together with people living with albinism, the first-time MP said he will also ensure that he brings development to the people of the area by working together with them. “I am so happy to be here today as we celebrate the coming of the New Year 2015 with our brothers that are living with albinism and I know they live with a lot of challenges and I will take a bill to parliament that will see all their problems addressed fully with help from the government,” he said. Moindi also visited various development project sites in the area and urged the residents to be free with their leaders and give a helping hand to them as they bring development to the grassroots. He made visits to Ramasha, Kerama and Nyanturago road construction projects that are ongoing after the roads were swept by heavy rains. He said that other road construction projects will start soon, adding that tenders have already been given to contractors.
