Nakuru County woman representative Mary Mbugua Tuesday said  she is optimistic the verdict given will be one that will see the cases terminated.

She said the ICC should rule in the favour of the two so that they can dedicate fully their time to work for Kenyans.

“I am optimistic that the Deputy President and Sang's cases at The Hague will be ruled in their favour on Tuesday and to the favor of the nation at large so that they can get the opportunity to serve the nation in their respective duties,” she said.

She called on Kenyans to maintain peace saying at this point in time, peace was of paramount importance.

She added that whatever the outcome of the ruling, all Kenyans should maintain peace and live in harmony.

“I would like to urge all Kenyans across this nation to be live in peace with one another because we should live like brothers and sisters,” she said.

The ICC is expected to give its ruling Tuesday on whether the two who are facing crimes against humanity have a case to answer or not.
