Kitutu Chache North Member of parliament Jimmy Angwenyi has been urged to intervene for the payment of National Youths Service casuals in his constituency.
Speaking on Thursday in Kitutu Chache North constituency area, the youths said they have never received their weekly payment over the last two weeks and they don’t know why their money has delayed for long.
They said they have been receiving their money weekly but this time, they have not seen the money and they have urged Angwenyi to make a follow up over their weekly payment.
“We have been receiving Sh1648 weekly but two weeks have gone without getting our money we ask our MP Jimmy Angwenyi to intervene to help us so that we can get our money,” said Erick Nyakoe one of the NYS members in the constituency.
“We have been depending on this money for long when we miss getting it some of us have nowhere to get assistance,” said Lydia Ongori another NYS member.
