Area MP John Oyioka on Monday speaking at Suneka market said businesspeople doing business outside the constituency should bring their businesses back home.

"Businesspeople should invest in the constituency and not take the investments to far areas. We need to develop our constituency together by setting up businesses in the region," he stated.

The lawmaker urged the businesspeople to form groups to apply for loans to help boost their business operations.

"Kenya Women Finance Trust bank gives good business loans and I am calling on residents to apply for the loans to help in starting small businesses to improve lives in the community," he added.

He promised to work closely with Kisii county government and all elected leaders in seeking sponsorships for locals to start businesses.

He urged youths to venture into legal activities to avoid police arrests.

"Youths should avoid crime at all cost to ensure they are in line with the law. Residents should also work with police to end crime in the region," he said.
