Thika Town MP, Alice Ng'ang'a, has urged National Assembly Public Accounts Committee chairman, Ababu Namwamba, to step aside to allow corruption investigations against him and some committee members.
Ng'ang'a has also said that any member who will be caught liable of corruption need to face the full force of the law.
Ng'ang'a said the committee has tainted other MPs image country wide.
She further urged the parliament to investigate those who have bribed the committee to give 'favourable' reports.
"We should not start beating a round the bush and hiding under Parliament. The truth must be told. Apart from that they need to be disciplined the best way possible," said Ng'ang'a.
Ng'ang'a said that there is no sacred cows when it comes to corruption.
"Nobody should be spared in fight against corruption. None is bigger or smaller than the other when it comes to this," notes Ng'ang'a.
