Kikuyu MP Kimani wa Ichung’wa has retaliated to Governor William kabogos statement stating that he is not intimidated by dirty political leaders saying that he will not cease to talk on what is important to the residents of Kiambu County
Kabogo earlier condemned the leaders who are inciting the public against his government during an event in Lusegetti within Kikuyu Sub-county when he gave 8 ambulances to serve the sub county.
Kimani was speaking in Kinoo area where he was invited to a fundraiser. He said that the governor fears being impeached and is therefore trying to force himself to the residents by sweet talking them.
He said that the governor is trying to intimidate Kiambu leaders who are in course of defending the residents. He said that Kiambu leaders will not just sit and watch the governor oppressing the public whom they serve.
“We are not going to be intimidated and we are going to fight for the rights of Kiambu County residents till the governor hears and attends to the needs of the residents,” Kimani said.
He said that Governor Kabogo’s government has failed the area residents due to the heavy levies which have left the traders at a state which they described as devastating
He further said that Governor Kabogo should resign from office if he is not capable of taking control of his government without hurting the people.
Ichungwa added that there are more people who can lead the county in a more efficient way with no protest and smooth development.
