Bonchari MP John Oyioka has said land grabbers in the constituency should prepare to surrender the land they have grabbed in the area.
The lawmaker said some cartels have been grabbing lands especially in Suneka market but he will not spare them.
“I was elected to serve my people and end any form of impunity. My office is aware that some people have grabbed public land with the influence of former MP. I will ensure all grabbed land is repossessed back in my tenure,” he said.
He said he will not be scared of how powerful the land grabbers are but will work with residents to have the lands taken away from the cartels.
“Residents will help me in the process of repossessing back any land that has been acquired illegally. Those who think they can use the backdoor to process for land documents should know Kisii land’s registrar does not condone corruption,” he said.
